In railroading, when I think of home, I think of the Western New York & Pennsylvania Railroad. This short line operates a significant portion of the ex-Erie Railroad mainline in its namesake states using diesel locomotives dating back to the 1950s.
The railroad was contracted in May 2020 to move and store 130 empty hopper cars. For this special move, the railroad used four of its locomotives to move the train from Meadville PA to Salamanca NY.
