Greenfield Village Towers
Walking down Maple Street as a horse-drawn cart passes a Model T. Exploring the laboratories of Thomas Edison. Hearing the faint sound of a whistle in the distance. The ambiance of Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan is unlike any other.
A couple of railroad workers meet beneath the large water and coal towers at the Weiser Railroad. The water tower was gifted to the museum by the New York Central Railroad in 1943. The coal tower was constructed in the 2010s. Despite the massive difference in age, these two feel like they’ve been companion pieces since the glory days of steam.
